Katrina Kaif 'most dangerous' star in cyber space

 Celebrity Katrina Kaif might be a heartthrob of large numbers but she has also gained herself a
sobriquet of being the 'most dangerous Indian celebrity' as the cyber crooks are using her name as a most liked keyword that exposes computers to harmful software.

The beauteous celebrity has emerged as the most dangerous celebrity in the Indian cyber space for year 2011, according to a report by the internet security company McAfee.

Fans searching for results on search engines using strings such as 'name of celebrity' combined with words like 'free downloads', 'hot pictures', 'screen savers', and  'videos' are at a risk of running themselves into web sites along with harmful computer software and online risks.



McAfee researched popular culture's most famous people to reveal the riskiest celebrity  sportsmen, actors and politicians across the web to pick up the 'most dangerous
Indian celebrity.'

According to the report, Katrina is on top among the most dangerous celebrity-related key words in the Indian cyber space that expose computers to malicious software, leaving behind Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor.



"In a celebrity crazy country like India, cyber criminals find it very lucrative to use the names of popular figures as keywords to lure people to websites with malicious software. This year's study found movie stars top the most dangerous list, while sports stars and politicians are among the safest," Venkatasubrahmanyam Krishnapur, Senior Director, McAfee India, said in a statement.

There is 10.26 per cent possibility that the name of the British Indian actress and former model could lead the users to a risky web site, the report says.



The list of 'dangerous celebrities' includes actors Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Aamir
Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Why is Katrina Kaif 'Chikni Chameli'?

After Sheila, Munni, Shalu and Jalebi Bai, 'Chikni Chameli' is the latest item bomb in Bollywood. Katrina Kaif has outdone her 'Sheila ki jawani' act in the song, and "Agneepath" director Karan Malhotra believes she has done full justice to it.

"I think the way the song was made, it was so wonderful, that only a topmost actress could have done justice to the song. And as far as Katrina is concerned, her USP is that she has never been seen in any film in that kind of zone that 'Chikni Chameli' is in. So which is why she also stands out in that atmosphere and that is why the song is catching a lot of eyeballs," the director said at the music premiere of "Agneepath" at a radio station here.

The men behind the song are composer-brothers Ajay-Atul, primarily known for their work in Marathi films and serials. "Chikni chameli" is a song inspired by their own Marathi song "Kombadi palali".

No wonder Malhotra denies that the song draws inspiration from any other item number.

"No, no girl inspired us for 'Chikni chameli'," said Malhotra.
 Meanwhile, Katrina's fast, rhythmic 'Chikni chameli' act has set many eyeballs popping. "Agneepath", a remake of the 1990 film of the same name, is set for release Jan 26 next year.

It stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead with Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra and Rishi Kapoor in key roles.

Sunny Leone overtakes Kareena and Katrina as most Googled Indian

Indo-Canadian Pornstar Sunny Leone who is currently in the Bigg Boss 5 house has surpassed Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai as India's most googled celebrity.

Stats from Google search have revealed that her biggest fans are in Noida where surfers are in huge numbers downloading photos and videos followed by Bhubaneswar, Ludhiana and Bhopal.

Her participation in Indian reality show Bigg Boss has helped her to go right on top of the charts with crazy fans searching for her five times more than Katrina Kaif, twice more than Aishwarya Rai and nine times more than Kareena Kapoor.
