MTV Roadies set its mark on the Indian government too

The Indian Government surprisingly announced that it was going to leverage the auditions of the ever growing popular reality TV show, the MTV Roadies, for filling up the backlog of officers in the IAS.
According to an excerpt from the official press release:
“Youngsters who clear the rigorous grilling by the three iconic judges are a national asset who must be valued and channelized appropriately. They possess just the right mindset for changing the nation as well as the passion required for being successful.
"Keeping the light this available talent pool and the existing shortfall of officers for the prestigious Indian Administrative Services, it was proposed that people who clear the Roadies auditions should get a direct entry to the IAS interviews, bypassing the nearly two year long process involving the gruelling prelims and mains papers.

"Upon clearing these interviews, successful candidates would then be assigned their cadres and sent for training. Successful completion of training would see them returning to serve the nation as IAS officers.”
A sane decision from the Government finally and a proud day for the team behind the MTV Roadies!

Will certainly Sunny sign 'Jism 2' or not?

Buzz is that Sunny Leone might turn down Mahesh Bhatt's next due to money issues
Buzz is that nothing concrete has yet materialised for Sunny Leone, from her talks with Mahesh Bhatt for Jism 2.

Mahesh Bhatt and Sunny Leone

Apparently, it is the price factor that is playing villain. Not known to indulge stars with over-fattened pay cheques, the Bhatts have yet to come to a mutually agreeable fee with Sunny.

Sunny says, "I really liked meeting Mahesh Bhatt and Pooja. But whether I am doing their movie or not, I am not sure yet.

It depends on a lot of factors including how my adult-content business in the US reacts to my Bollywood aspirations."

However, the actress says that she loved the part that was narrated to her. "It was deep and enigmatic. And it was for the main lead.

That's the kind of start I'd like in Bollywood. And if things go well I'd like to take up a career in Bollywood." In fact, the actress even says that if this industry clicks for her, she will even let go of acting in adult-content films.

In this film where Sunny will play a honeytrap, apparently Arunoday Singh is being cast as one of the two male leads.

Though Mahesh Bhatt denied it, Arunoday said, "I am not sure about Jism 2. Nothing formal has been discussed." Buzz is he being pencilled in to play a very macho character.

No child for right now, confident for great job: Juhi Parmar

When Juhi Parmar emerged as the winner of "Bigg Boss 5" and stepped out of the controversial house Saturday night, it was to be greeted by a crowd, car horns, and hullabaloo, but she sighed with relief. Post her victory and a cash prize of Rs.1 crore, she has no immediate plans to start a family, but she hopes to get good work in the TV industry.
"It was a fantastic experience!!!" an excited Juhi, who pipped actress Mahek Chahal and Siddharth Bhardwaj, told IANS.

"The first sight was of lots of human beings, and what a relief it was! I heard the horn of the car, and felt so nice for the first time, and more than the people who waved at me, I was waving at them!
"My family was there, my husband (Sachin Shroff), my mother and my mother-in-law... I was quite numb, but they are all so proud of me. And I am proud of myself that I could win this show in a dignified way," she added.
The 31-year-old, who became the second female to win "Bigg Boss", after actress Shweta Tiwari emerged victorious in the last season, says she would love to add a member to her family. But not anytime soon.
"I think I will start thinking about planning my family after sometime, not so quickly. One important reason for this is that I know for a fact that after 'Bigg Boss', I can look forward to some great work in the industry.
"I want to enjoy working to the fullest and concentrate on that before anything else, so that when the baby comes, I am able to give my full time to motherhood too," she added.
Juhi, who became a popular name after "Kumkum", and featured in reality shows like "Nach Baliye 3", "Saas Vs Bahu", "Pati Patni Aur Woh" and "Maa Exchange", hopes to get a mixed bag of work.
"I have always loved both - fiction as well as reality shows. Fiction has been my love forever, but I think reality shows keep the excitement ticking always... But yes, it's been a long time since I have done a fiction show, so I am looking forward to one or two!" said the actress, who feels she has lost weight and is back into shape post "Bigg Boss 5".
The show has caused other alterations in the actress too.
"I can feel a lot of positive changes in myself thanks to the show. It has taught me how to forgive, get over things and how to let go. It has made me value a lot - my family, my work, my surroundings... all of that from which I was kept away in the show," said Juhi, whose patient demeanour made her stand out among the contestants.
"Bigg Boss 5" began with 13 contestants Oct 5. As per the show's format, the participants were made to stay in a secluded house, sans any communication with the outside world.
People plot and plan to win the show, but Juhi suggests no strategy is the best strategy for a show like this.
"If you think of a strategy and go for a show like this, you will end up being happy only for a few days. After that, all strategies will fizzle out. You have to be natural with your emotions, have your moments of anger, moments of love and moments of fights ¦and go with the flow.
"What's important is to not keep grudges, not to keep anything in the heart. That will make you a winner in the hearts of people, even if not on the show," she added.
Winners of past seasons of "Bigg Boss" were Rahul Roy, Ashutosh Kaushik, Vindu Dara Singh and Shweta, respectively.

Bigg Boss 5: Greatest moments

We carry out a summarize of the activities that happened in the 5th season of the reality show Bigg Boss. Here's a look...

This time the controversial show started with two superstar hosts. Sanjay Dutt was roped in after much hype to co-host the show with Salman Khan. The season saw many controversial moments as usual with stand-out (not outstanding!) housemates rocking the ratings. Here’s a look at some of those moments that kept viewers glued to their sets…

Shakti Kapoor - The veteran actor was the only male contestant among 13 female contestants to enter the show. He was the captain of the house in its first two weeks but was eliminated in the 4th week.

On Day 12, Pooja Misrra blew a gasket by kicking a dustbin and breaking kitchen stuff after over an innocuous inquiry by housemate Shonali Nagrani. Housemates requested Bigg Boss to evict her from the house because her tantrums and her evasion of duties.

On Week 7's eviction night Salman Khan strictly warned Siddharth for his shameful behaviour with Mahek Chahal and Pooja Misrra. Apparently, Salman said that he will get inside the house and bash Siddharth up if he dares to repeat the act. This was later chopped from the broadcast.

Indo-Canadian adult actress Sunny Leone managed to create much hype when she entered the Bigg Boss house, but her presence in the show did not go down well with The Indian Artistes and Actors Forum.

Many evicted housemates which include Pooja Bedi, Shraddha Sharma, Raageshwari, Shakti kapoor, Pooja Misrra and Vida Samadzai accused Salman Khan for favouring housemate Mahek Chahal for being partial towards her. Their claims were, later, rejected by the actor himself after Mahek got evicted on 11 December 2011. Mahek wins the controversial wild card entry poll against Laxmi Narayan and Shonali Nagrani who clearly did not have as much of a fan following as her, merely fourteen days after her initial eviction, which indeed confirmed all the allegations against her being Salman Khan's favourite candidate

Mahesh Bhatt entered the house for a couple of hours to present a contract deal to Sunny to cast her as the lead actress in Pooja Bhatt's upcoming sequel of the film Jism

On Day 67, Andrew Symonds entered the house as a guest. Later Pooja Misrra was also sent in on the same day to act as his translator. Both of them stayed in the house for a period of eleven days.

Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt lashed out at Siddharth and Sky for being too unmannerly with Mahek Chahal and Pooja Misrra and the same continued with other housemates few weeks later when Salman Khan went inside the house on 17 December 2011 and severely scolded contestants for their behaviour.

Actress Pooja Bedi says she has been asked to refrain from attending the grand finale of ‘Bigg Boss 5. 41-year-old was in spotlight for her comments against Salman Khan, as she felt he hurt her fellow inmate and friend, Akashdeep Saigal aka Sky. It is believed that perhaps her comments didn't go down too well with Salman

Ranbir helps girl child empowerment

Mumbai, Jan 7: After voicing concern for conservation of water, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has now lent his support to another initiative saving and empowering the girl child.

The “Rockstar” actor has joined hands with veteran actress and social activist Shabana Azmi for the cause by becoming a goodwill ambassador of her NGO, Mijwan Welfare Society.

While talking about the social issue, Ranbir praised Shabana’s efforts towards it.

“I haven’t done much for Mijwan Welfare Society besides attaching my name to it. Like Shabana aunty said that being an actor, there is a certain amount of people who will listen to your voice. This is a movement for which the lady sitting next to me is very passionate about,” Ranbir said sitting next to Shabana at an event here.

“We must believe in that because there is a lot of honesty, love and feelings behind it. There is no agenda behind it,” he added.

Ranbir, son of Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, also has an elder sister, Riddhima. He says in his home, she was always given an extra edge over him.

“I have a sister. She has been very close to me and my family. My parents have brought us up equally or as a matter of fact, my sister was given an extra edge over me. I think that is how every Indian family should bring up their children,” said the 29-year-old.

Meanwhile, Ranbir’s first release this year would be Anurag Basu’s “Barfi!”, set to hit theatres July 13.

He will also be seen with ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone in Karan Johar’s “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani”, to be directed by Ayan Mukerji of “Wake Up Sid” fame.

If Jism lifted eye brows, then the Bhatt camp is right now gearing up to take the readers away of their sockets!

Pooja Bhatt has ultimately exposed the 'first look' of her much-anticipated film, Jism 2. And believe in us, the taster poster is anything, but acquire. The much-talked regarding 'first look', highlights a unclothed puzzle lady covered in a see-through wet white protect.

Jism 2, initial made head lines when Mahesh Bhatt provided a critical task in Jism 2 to 'Playmate' Sunny Leone in the 'Bigg Boss' house. And though the adult star has still not signed Jism 2, hype has it that Pooja will encash on Leone's pornstar image to its most by making her bare it all in the really 1st scene of Jism 2.

The objective of not exposing the girl, according to Pooja, is to keep people's suspense intact and also to establish the fact that it's not the encounter but the brand that sells the product.
At present, the director is in Darjeeling with her dad, Mahesh Bhatt to choose spots for Jism 2

Hrithik-Salman: The fresh BFFs?

Contrary to reports of the cold war between Hrithik Roshan and Salman Khan, the duo seem to have warmed up to each other again

Recently, a Mumbai tabloid carried a story about Salman refusal to have the 'Agneepath' team at the 'Bigg Boss 5' grand finale. Sources claim that Salman’s decision to not have Hrithik Roshan for the final stems from his long-standing cold war dating back to the ‘Guzarish’ release. Salman had passed not-so-nice remarks about Hrithik’s performance which had miffed the actor.

Salman's many moods

Sources claim that Hrithik’s proximity to SRK was also one of the factors of the cold war between the actors. But now, it is a thing of the past and Hrithik has extended an olive branch to Salman. Right before Salman flew out of the country for his nerve surgery, Hrithik went to meet the actor to wish him luck. This gesture did the trick and broke the ice.

Sallu – Kat in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’
Recently, both of them were at Yash Raj Studios; Hrithik was dubbing for Agneepath and Salman was shooting for ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Sources claim that the duo met up and had an hour long conversation. Not only that, during a recent flight to Dubai, the actors bumped into each other and greeted each other warmly. Seems like Bollywood will soon have a new set of BFFs soon.

I would like to marry Daniel Weber : Sunny Leone

I would like to marry Daniel Weber over and over again: Sunny Leone

After her stint on the fifth season of the reality show 'Bigg Boss', Indian-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone wants to get back to normal life with her boyfriend Daniel Weber and says he is everything that her ex-fiance Matt Erikson didn't have.

Excerpts from the interview:

Q: What is it like being a porn star?

A: I believe I lead my life just the way I want to. I am free to do what I want without any restrictions.

Q: You made a conscious choice to be an adult actress. What was your parents' reaction to your career choice?

A: I informed my parents after I won the Penthouse cover-of-the-year and $100,000. It was impossible to keep it a secret. How would they react? Obviously there was a confrontation between us. They were upset at first. Eventually they came to terms with the fact that it is what I've chosen to do with my life. With time they came to know I'm still their daughter, still the same person.

Q: While you were inside 'Bigg Boss' house, your ex-fiance Matt Erikson apparently released your first adult-film together without your consent?

A: I am not sure about what has actually happened. But in the adult industry there are certain rules that must be followed. If for some reason he has released content that he does not own, then....

Q: Was your parting with Matt unpleasant?

A: We didn't see eye-to-eye. It didn't work out. I am a happy person today. I'm a better wise person today. I know exactly what I want in a man now.

Q: What do you want in a man?

A: Exactly what I have in Daniel (Weber). He is everything that I could ever imagine. We own a business together.

Q: Do you hope to marry this guy?

A: Over and over again.

Q: What are your plans now?

A: To try and get back to a normal life, as much as possible. I will be in Mumbai till after the grand finale of 'Bigg Boss'.

Q: Mahesh Bhatt is waiting to sign you up?

A: Every Indian girl abroad grows up watching these beautiful actresses in Hindi films on television, dreaming if she could ever be part of it. I am no different. But the option (of doing a Hindi film) wasn't there. Now it is there. So I'd love to work with Mahesh Bhatt.

Q: Are you considering a career in Bollywood?

A: I hope so. To be a part of that gallery of beautiful actresses I grew up watching... is a mesmerizing thought....

Q: You went into 'Bigg Boss' with your profession as an adult star a secret. Didn't that give you a kind of freedom from being judged?

A: No it didn't. I had to grope around in the house to give them a sense of who I was as a person, and not for what I did as a career. That was tough. It was very important for them to come to terms with my personality before I revealed my true identity.

Q: What was their reaction when they got to know that you are an adult actress?

A: They were surprisingly okay with it. That was an absolutely pleasant surprise. If anyone had issues with what I did, I'd have known.

Q: Would it have been embarrassing if anyone had issues?

A: No. I've been doing adult porn for 10 years. I've met all sorts of people. Those who like me, those who dislike me for what I am and what I do, those who hate or appreciate my choice of profession. I wasn't really bothered with the reactions I'd get in 'Bigg Boss'.

Q: How was the experience in 'Bigg Boss'?

A: It was interesting watching the dynamics within the house. Language was a problem. This was the first time I had to understand and speak Hindi.

Q: You looked very pained on the show?

A: I did? There were lots of arguments. I had never been so vulnerable in my entire life. But it was a learning experience. I laughed a lot. I've never laughed so much before.

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan seriously injured his bones when he was enjoying a soccer match along with his loving daughter Suhana in Dubai on Jaunary 1, 2012. The actor was in Dubai for a comfortable holiday with family.

The year 2011 has been extremely busy for the actor as he had two major releases in the year, ‘Ra.One’ and ‘Don 2’. During this time the actor had no time to spend with his family due to which the whole Khan family went on a rejuvenating holiday to Dubai.
